May 10, 2010 - Senator Yaw hosted Senators Pileggi and Erickson on a tour of the Marcellus Shale Natural Gas Industry in Northcentral Pennsylvania. The Senators visited numerous sites in Lycoming County including an active well site, compressor station and a freshwater impoundment.  The produced gas in the 23rd District is a high quality, but still needs some slight refining before being sent to market. This device is a dehydrator and separator that brings the gas up to standards that will allow it to be put into the pipeline.
