PUC to Hold Public Hearings on Natural Gas Gathering Application 

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission will hold two public hearings on Wednesday, July 7 in Great Bend and Montrose to hear public testimony on an application by Laser Marcellus Gathering Company to provide gathering and transportation services in certain communities in Susquehanna County.   

The hearings will be held at the following times and locations: 

1 p.m. – Great Bend Hose Company No. 1, Inc.
P.O. Box 201
Great Bend, PA  18821 

7 p.m. – The American Legion
Gardner-Warner Post 154
RR #4, Box 223C
Montrose, PA  18801 

Senator Gene Yaw (R-Lycoming) is urging members of the public to attend the hearing and offer their input on the company's request for approval. 

"It is important for residents to take advantage of this public forum," Yaw said.  "This is an opportunity for Susquehanna County residents to offer their opinions directly to the issuing authority on the pending application."
